Appward is a fictional initiative positioned at the crossroads of design, technology, and the fight against misinformation. Developed as part of a national competition for the Bachelor’s Year 3 Web Designer program, the project is presented as an UX-oriented app aimed at promoting the reliability of information and strengthening users’ trust in the digital content they consume. Appward is positioned as a modern, institutional, and credible product, able to engage equally with end users and with public or private stakeholders concerned with information- and AI-related issues.

Project overview
The Appward project consists of designing a UI/UX application exploring how design can help fight misinformation in the age of artificial intelligence. The project takes place in a context where the proliferation of AI-generated content makes information verification increasingly complex for users.
The project’s goal is to propose a clear, accessible, and symbolically strong experience, capable of conveying notions of reliability, validation, and control, without overwhelming the user with technical information. Appward thus explores the role of design as a tool for mediation between complex technology and human understanding.
Défis
The main challenge of the project lay in the need to address a sensitive and complex subject without falling into a тревожно? Wait translate properly. Let's craft in English. Need keep HTML tags. Let's produce proper JSON escaped.
The main challenge of the project lay in the need to address a sensitive and complex subject without falling into an anxiety-inducing or overly technical tone. The interface had to be designed to inspire trust, while remaining readable and understandable for a broad audience.
Another important challenge was to translate abstract notions such as verification, reliability, or the fight against disinformation through a visual experience that was coherent, symbolic, and immediately recognizable, without resorting to heavy explanations or excessive text.
Goals
Make the concept of information reliability visually understandable
Inspire trust through a clear, institutional interface
Offer an accessible experience around a complex subject
Explore the role of design in addressing issues related to AI and information
Approach & Key Decisions
The project adopts a clean art direction, based on a sober interface, strong symbolic forms, and a clear visual hierarchy. The choice of colors, volumes, and graphic elements aims to evoke validation, rigor, and reliability.
The UX was designed to reduce any cognitive friction, favoring smooth reading and an immediate understanding of the main message. The project deliberately emphasizes clarity and symbolism rather than technical demonstration.

Results & Learning
Appward results in a coherent and readable UI/UX application, capable of addressing a complex subject with sobriety and precision. The interface offers a strong visual experience, focused on trust and understanding, while maintaining a credible institutional tone.
This project demonstrates my ability to address sensitive and contemporary topics through the lens of product design, by bringing UX, UI, and art direction together around a clear message. It also illustrates my interest in issues related to AI, information, and the responsibility of design in digital products.
